The International Yoga Teachers Association (N.Z.) Inc. (IYTA (NZ))

2024-25 Annual General Meeting was held on 30 August 2025

The IYTA (NZ) 2024-5 Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held via Zoom with 20 attendees.

​

The results are as follows:

​

 

   1. The annual financial statements were accepted.

​

• Thanks to Sheena Henderson for her sterling work.

​​

   2. Judy Gardner's nomination for President has been unanimously accepted.

​

• Congratulations, Judy.

​

   3. The revised remit to wind up IYTA's operations was accepted by a majority:

​

• 'That the members of the International Yoga Teachers Association (NZ)* resolve,
  by special resolution passed at the general meeting, to wind up the society
  in accordance with the constitution and the Incorporated Societies Act 2022..'

   

   4. Discussion.was held about distribution of the remaining funds after all outstanding costs have been paid,

        as well as disposal of IYTA property. All outstanding invoices are to be presented to Sheena by 30 November.

All attendees then contributed a few cherished memories of their time as part of IYTA (NZ).
